Personal: A walk in the snow // Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

// Author: Vanessa // 7 Comments

Like much of the eastern U.S. we were gifted with a nice blanket of snow yesterday. In March. I wan’t mad though…it was too pretty for me to be mad!

I have a dear husband who is so patient and understanding of my photographer ways. On our way to run some errands, he spied this lovely path and pulled over so we could take some pictures. This was the first time using my amazing new Sony camera body and lenses. I am blown away by the technology and ease-of-use! As a wedding photographer, this ups my game BIG time! It was great to get some practice- and I had the handsomest of models to practice on. ;)

Enjoy our walk in the woods! (oh, and please pardon the sap. I couldn’t help it.)

Um, those baby blues…they are seriously addicting. ;)

He’s a serious ham. This was meant to make fun of the pictures people take with signage. What can I say? Tim is a keen observer of the human race.

Then Tim took a few shots of the photographer (who didn’t really fix her hair that morning). I hate being in front of the camera, but it’s good for me…like peas. Bleh.

And the man behind the camera knows how to make me laugh. I’m not going to tell you what he said to bring that laugh. It was quite childish.

A coating of snow brings so much beauty!

2013-03-06-03606Love how the river disappears around the curve and the reflections of snowy trees.

2013-03-06-03616I shot this from the car on our way home. This is our “secret” waterfall. There was beautiful steam rising from it. Hard to capture, but it was quite magical! Who can spot the heart on the tree trunk? Let me know if you find it!

P.s. He’s my favorite. In case you didn’t know. ;)

Thankful for all the beauty my loving Heavenly Father places around us every day. Look around you and enjoy the gifts of beauty in each day!

Loving the beautiful snow pics! It was definitely hard to be mad at it. I tried… Also, I think you should bring your new camera the next time we get together at Tracey’s house. I want to see it! :)

Love the one of you two at the end! Also, you didn’t fix your hair? Pshaw. I wish my hair looked like that unfixed.

Fun pictures! I think I see the heart in the tree trunk. Is it one of the trees that is over the waterfall? I see a white (snow?) heart.

Vanessa, I found myself just thanking Jesus at that last picture
for blessing you in such profound ways, friend!

Thanks for sharing the beauty (outdoors), and His beauty
in the both of you! Love from Sunbury.
